Giant’s Causeway, Ireland

Okay~ i do really wonder how did this rocks built or shaped~
it's just like wood blocks stacking together in order~

"Giant's causeway shaped because of the horizontal contraction fractured -- in a bottom face that is convex while the upper face of the lower segment is concave, producing what are called "ball and socket" joints."

well~ this is Giant’s Causeway in Ireland

In a 2005 poll of Radio Times readers, the Giant's Causeway was named as the fourth greatestnatural wonder in the United Kingdom.
The tops of the columns form stepping stones that lead from the cliff foot and disappear under the sea. Most of the columns are hexagonal, although there are also some with four, five, seven or eight sides. The tallest are about 12 metres (39 ft) high, and the solidified lava in the cliffs is 28 metres (92 ft) thick in places.

The Giant's Causeway is today owned and managed by the National Trust and it is the most popular tourist attraction in Northern Ireland.

Canada, Sky Walking at Mt. Nimbus

Found this thrilling yet amazing place~
Spectacular, speechless~
...
But anyhow, may i present Mt. Nimbus Via Ferrata, Canada!

This giant jungle gym, complete with swinging bridges, rappels and ladders, was designed and created by the Bobbie Burns Mountain Guides on Mount Nimbus in the Purcell Mountains. It is accessible only by helicopter from the Bobbie Burns Lodge, 35 kms south of Golden, BC. Never fear that this is some gung-ho, ramshackle set-up.

Via ferrata was originally invented by the Italian army in the First World War when they needed to get across the mountains undetected and in a hurry.

Amazing~ Isn't it?

If you want more information, I suggest you go directly to the Canada Rail Vacations site…

You've heard of the Cinque Terre, those five Italian fishing villages that tourists often hike through one at a time. The one that starts the chain is called Riomaggiore.

There are many reasons to love Riomaggiore.
Firstly, the photos are just freaking stunning!!!

Secondly, dusk is the town's prime time.
You can savor it on the cool, seaside rocks with the fishermen or from way up high on a cocktail bar's terrace.

Thirdly, Riomaggiore's water is the bluest of blues.
The village sits right on the Gulf of Genoa, at the upper edge of Italy's boot, where water is unspoiled and serene.

Pamukkale, Turkey

Who's up for a hot shower?
I know i am when i discovered this place~

Here i am going to introduce a place called Pamukkale, a site in Denizli Province, southwestern side of Turkey.

Pamukkale, which literally means "cotton-castle" in Turkish, is one of Turkey's top attraction and a precious in the world with its cotton-look terraces.
The dazzling white calcareous castles are formed by limestone-laden thermal springs, creating the unbelievable formation of stalactites, potholes and cataracts.

The underground water once gave life to the ancient city of Hierapolis now helps Pamukkale be one of the most important thermal centers of Turkey.

The waters in the terraces are the sediments of the springs with calcium carbonate in 33C and containing mainly calcium salts and carbon-dioxide, run off the plateau's by depositing calcium carbonate while carbon-dioxide disappearing.

And when the calcium carbonate hardens, it forms travertine. Thus, created the sparkling white castle-like cascades.

Sunset View
Nice view, right? There's something even better.
Guess what?
The water of Pamukkale is famous for its benefits to the eyes and skin; and its curing properties to the ills of asthma, rheumatism, as well.

Beachy Head – England

No offense, but the name for this lovely place rang my bells on "B*tch-y"~ hahahaha!!

alright alright~ get back to the topic~
some introduction for this BEACH~

Beachy Head is a prominent chalk headland located between Eastbourne and Birling Gap on the south coast of England.

The cliff at Beachy Head is the highest chalk sea cliff in Britain, rising to 530 feet (162 metres) at its highest point above sea level.
The chalk of the cliffs was formed over a period of 30 million years when a warm sub tropical sea covered the area, between 95 to 65 million years ago.

Beachy Head is a popular location for filming and such films as Quadrophenia and The Living Daylights have been filmed here as well as the BBC owning Belle Tout for a while where The Life and Loves of a She Devil were filmed.
